September 17th, 2009 will be the first time I will be seeing U2 live in concert.
I know it may not seem like a big deal to you but it is for me for a number of reasons.
Reason #1: My husband Steve is a really big fan, he downloads music and movies for free or almost free but he purchases everything he gets about U2. CD's, DVD's, books whatever.. and you'd think with a fan like this he'd have brought me to one of the many concerts he's been to.... nope he's promised me several times but somehow he always manages to find a way to go with his friend Adrian. Although there was one wedding anniversary he was to take me as a present I'm still waiting for that one. He's made this concert my wedding anniversary (for this year) and my birthday present all in one. oh well.
Reason #2: It will be the first time I've went to a concert that wasn't the New Kids on the Block.
Reason #3: It will be the first outing Steve and I will have without the company of Minuette since her birth on July 3, 2007. (In my opinion this is the most important reason)
I am looking forward to going not only for the experience but because I think it's important that Steve and I take the opportunity to have some fun out without the baby!!
Anyone want to babysit??????

Actually I didn't I was told Dan and Maria, but it matters not... We have a babysitter!!!! I am soooo stoked. The only problem right now is that I am working that day 8am to 4pm. So it means I'm going to have to be dressed for the concert at work and eat quickly when I get home, and barely see my daughter that day! ;-( oh to have a night out with the husband!!!!!!! IS SOOO WORTH IT!!!
One of my long standing dreams was to attend a U2 concert live. . I know all the words of their songs by heart …well they are performing this year. Next weekend I’m going to visit my sister and we will attend them; I've got U2 tix from Ticketsinventory.com, so I'll be analyzing as well as enjoying the concert.
